Left, one of three sections of Kevlar towline—in heavy weather,
more are used. Because the towing eye (below left) can't be
reached from the Davis's foredeck, one section is secured there
permanently (top right) and stowed in the anchor locker during
fishing excursions. There are no special fitments for the bridle's
eye-splices—just the Feadship's standard bitts (bottom right).
